1st Honda BigWing outlet opens in Setapak
Big bike enthusiasts who prefer Honda are now able to buy their favourite motorcycle brand from an authorised dealership now. Previously, they could only buy mostly from parallel importers, or for a short time, via Honda Impian dealers.
With the increased interest in big bikes ownership in Malaysia, the official franchise holder for the brand, Boon Siew Honda (BSH) has opened its first dealership for big capacity Honda motorcycles, known as Honda BigWing, which is an exclusive one-stop sales and service centre for its range of models from 250cc and above.
It is operated and managed by Ee Tiong Motorsports Sdn. Bhd, located in Setapak in Kuala Lumpur.
The good news for existing Honda big bike owners and potential customers of the brand is prices for the CBU models from Japan will be priced lower than what are being sold by parallel importers. Customers can look at OTR prices of between RM80K and RM90K for the X-ADV and Africa Twin models.
A Honda BigWing consists of a state-of-the-art showroom, service centre, parts and accessories corner and customer lounge. The overall distinctive concept was designed to provide a cool, sophisticated and premium atmosphere, offering a unique customer experience.
Apart from the Setapak outlet, BSH is planning to open 3 more Honda BigWing outlets for 2018, with one each in Penang, Selangor and Johor.
The Setapak opening saw the announcement and preview of the much anticipated Honda X-ADV, 2018 Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin and CB1000R, which are targeted to be available to Malaysian customers in 1st half of the year, with another 2 models to be ready during the 2nd half of 2018.
BSH is targeting a 30% increase of Big Bike sales, translating into more than 1600 units for the new year.

They were really excited with track experience in Sepang circuit and meet with world champion MotoGP riders. The opening of Honda BigWing Setapak was officiated by Wee Hong, the President of the Malaysia Motorcycle and Scooter Dealers Association, together with Dato’ Seri Datuk Wira Tan Hui Jing, the Deputy Chairman and Deputy CEO of Boon Siew Honda and Nagata.
Setapak was chosen for the first Honda BigWing sales and service centre in Malaysia based on its central location and large customer base, as well as BSH’s confidence in the ability of Ee Tiong Motorsports Sdn. Bhd. to exceed the expectations of consumers.
The 5,535sq ft of Honda BigWing Setapa is aimed at providing more space and comfort for customers. The outlet will also be holding frequent activities such as international convoy events and bikers gathering, which allow customers more opportunities to experience world-class events and exclusive privileges.
More privileges will be prepared for all Honda Big Bike customers at Honda BigWing. Customers will be granted a complimentary Honda BigWing Member Card.
