Honda Africa Twin now available in Matt Ballistic Black Metallic
For the latest color update, the standard variant model of the Africa Twin will now features the Matt Ballistic Black Metallic to complement the existing color palettes available in the AT line-up to the Malaysian buyers. The new color would further entice the visual appearance of the Africa Twin by providing a subtle yet stylish outlook to the adventure bike's appearance.
Boon Siew Honda (BSH) in a press statement to the Malaysian media, will continue to market the Honda Africa Twin through 4 options – Standard type is offered in both Manual Transmission and Honda’s DCT which will feature the latest Matt Ballistic Black Metallic colour. While the Adventure Sports which also be offered in Manual Transmission and DCT still come in the Tri-Color variant.
On the mechanical front, the Africa Twin continue to be powered by four-stroke, parallel twin engine which delivers a peak power of 70kw @ 7,500rpm with 99Nm torque @6,000rpm. Bore and stroke are set at 92 x 75.1mm, with a compression ratio of 10.0:1. Much of its phenomenal off-roading adventure capability has been left untouched as it still features a sturdy bodywork in a lightweight form providing riders with confidence on those long, arduous journey.
